WHAT WE DO
Switzer Learning Center is a
nonprofit special education school with a
clinical treatment program for students from
third through 12th grade who have
moderate to severe learning disabilities, emotional
problems, attention problems and behavioral
disorders.
Our classrooms are limited to only 12
students for every credentialed special education
teacher and teacher’s aide.
Our enrollment ranges from 85-95 students
with a maximum capacity for 120 students.
Our students are referred from their home school
district, when they have been unsuccessful in a
traditional school program.
When a student’s Individual Education Plan
(IEP) (link to Resources, Parent Info) team
approves placement at Switzer Learning Center, all
approved services are paid under a contract with the
school district.
When parents decide that Switzer Learning
Center is the best school for a child without an IEP
they may chose privately paid enrollment.

intake, transportation, school and
clinical pages.
