Switzer Learning Center is proud to offer a number of different employment, internship, and volunteer opportunities at the Center. All of our staff, whether they are paid employees, interns or unpaid volunteers, are compassionate and warm individuals who have unique caring and professional skills to offer our students.

The California Department of Education requires that all staff and volunteers working with or around students must submit to fingerprint screening to pass a state and federal background check, recieve clearance of no violent or serious felony convictions, and order subsequent arrest notification from the Califronia Department of Justice prior to contact with students. All Switzer Center employees are mandated reporters who are required to report suspected child abuse or neglect.
All staff and regular volunteers who have contact with students mush have a current tuberculosis clearance every four years in accordance with California Health and Safety Code.
