We had an exciting evening with Western themed fun to raise money for the special education programs at Switzer Learning Center.
Retiring Principal Len Hernandez was recognized for his 45 years of service to Switzer Learning Center. Generous donors Carol and Jerry Marcil and Xero Solar were also recognized for their contribution of solar panels this year, saving money for Switzer for many years to come.
Guests were greeted with a glass of Bodega Sangria from San Antonio Winery as soon as they arrived. Afterwards, they tasted food from Joey’s Smokin’ BBQ, Johnny Rebs’, Shady Grove Foods, and Grandma’s House. Samples of local beer were provided by Strand Brewing Company, Scholb, Brouwerij West, and Absolution, as well as a Stallion Brew by the Switzer team themselves! Desserts were provided by Chicken Maison, Mychal’s Learning Place, and Whole Foods Market.
Party goers enjoyed whiskey tasting from KOVAL, a custom shooting range, a mechanical bull and blackjack tables.
An intense bidding war took place on the trip for 2 in the Goodyear Blimp, as well as many other great auction items.
Don’t forget to check out the article about the Boots, Brews & BBQs in the Daily Breeze!
We look forward to seeing you there next year!
